At Lynx British Shorthair, we stand behind the health and quality of our kittens.
We provide a 2 year genetic health guarantee, covering serious hereditary conditions that significantly affect the kitten’s quality of life.
This guarantee is valid only with written certification from a licensed veterinarian confirming a genetic diagnosis.
What Is Covered
This guarantee covers:

Serious genetic/hereditary conditions present from birth

Conditions that are life-threatening or significantly impact quality of life

Genetic illnesses confirmed by a qualified veterinarian
What Is Not Covered
The following are not covered under this guarantee:
Illnesses caused by environmental factors (e.g. infections, viruses, parasites, accidents, injuries)

Conditions resulting from poor care or neglect, including:

Improper diet

Lack of veterinary care

Unsafe living conditions

Minor or non-life-threatening conditions that do not impact overall health or quality of life

Stress-related illnesses after leaving our care

Any condition arising after the kitten leaves that is not proven to be genetic

Veterinary opinions that are not supported by diagnostic evidence
Conditions of Guarantee
This guarantee is only valid if:

The kitten has been properly cared for and maintained in good health

The buyer seeks prompt veterinary attention if a health issue arises

Written documentation is provided confirming a genetic diagnosis
Breeder Responsibility
If a qualifying genetic condition is confirmed within the 2-year period:

We will offer a replacement kitten from a future litter (subject to availability)
We do not offer refunds, as our focus is on the continued care and placement of our kittens.
